BOSTON — If you take your macabre light, consider the the black comedy musical based on Charles Addams's New Yorker cartoons (also the inspiration of the popular 1964 TV show), The Addams Family, To go a little deeper, contemplate climate change through the lense of a  turn-of-the-century exploration team stranded in the Antarctic. For total immersion into fearful dark, step into ancient Pompei and see what was captured under volcanic ash for over 1,700 years.
