Live video chat by Ustream
Egypt's uprising appeared to have reached a critical point Thursday as senior military leaders and government officials told protesters in Cairo, "All your demands will be met."
Within hours of the general's remarks, throngs of protesters had streamed into the square to join the tens of thousands already there, anticipating Mubarak's resignation. Tahrir Square was a sea of Egyptian flags and camera flashes.
Several outlets are reporting that Mubarek will address the Egyptian people Thursday evevening Egyptian time (Thursday afternoon EST).
