In this clip Byron Rushing, director of the Museum of Afro-American History (now the Museum of African American History), explains the significance of Copps Hill Burial Ground in the North End of Boston on location to host Topper Carew. "When black people started gaining their emancipation...they chose [to live in] the North End... Black people when they died, they'd be buried up in Copps Hill Ground in what was called the black section."
