In this clip, a Boston artist in a blue shirt says, “What I’m talking about is that there is great talent in the black community. We know this because white people are constantly stealing everything we have and packaging it and calling it whiteness. Witness the Beatles. Witness Cream. This is all black music.” He goes on to talk about color in contemporary art, which he says originated in Egypt. He goes on to call for the creation of an all-black organization that black artists would all belong to, and then the only way white people would be able to see their favorite black artists would be by going through that group.
