Arrrr! The 99.5 All Classical team returns to Rockport to bring you a swashbuckling live concert by the energetic baroque ensemble Red Priest, featuring “pirated” works by Bach and other composers. Under the artistic leadership of renowned pianist and MIT faculty member David Deveau since 1995, Rockport Music has grown steadily in stature and reputation and is now a nationally recognized organization. Last year 99.5 All Classical was on site to broadcast the opening concerts of the Shalin Liu Performance Center, Rockport Music’s spectacular new year-round permanent home perched on the Atlantic Ocean. This year we capture the excitement - and the artistry - of Red Priest, one of the highlight ensembles of the Festival’s 30th anniversary season.
