Regarding road construction in MA. I was born and raised in MA, but in 1973 I moved to Maine. I frequently return to MA., passing through New Hampshire on the way. When it comes to road work and other public works projects, crossing the state line into MA. is like passing into a third world country.

Do you get the feeling there’s always construction on the roads and bridges along your commute? Well, there’s a reason for that. A new investigation by Greater Boston and the New England Center for Investigative Reporting finds many construction projects are overdue and over-budget. Greater Boston’s Jared Bowen and NECIR’s Beverly Ford join Emily.
