"Ashmont? Wheres that? " "17 minutes by train" "Wow, thats like living in Wellesley. Thats far away" !! Laughing at Donna for saying diversity is a draw. Truly an embarrassement even if this were 1970s, let alone now. Emily was lost somewhere on the Road from Clueless to Idiotic.

I greatly admire WGBH but I am extremely distressed that they are allowing a woman to host their show "Greater Boston" who knows so little about Boston and how can WGBH, an institution I always counted on to foster enlightened discourse and progressive thinking, have a woman like Rooney hosting this show. She could barely get the word "diversity" out of her mouth. She almost choked on it. Im disgusted that WGBH would allow this woman to perpetuate stereotypes about the very city her show is about, Boston. Where does Rooney live? On another planet or in an elite, lily white bubble also known as suburbia?

Wow, Emily Rooney is an embarrassment. Ew, why would anyone want to live near people who arent exactly like them? Give me a break. Get this old bag off the air.

Your evidencelacking assessment of crime in Dorchester. Are you kidding me? "Where is that [Ashmont?]" Are you kidding me? I think its time you either get a new research staff, do research yourself, or get another job. And oh, The Fabioloso Mysterioso Bandiditotos are having a happening. Thats the good news. The bad news? Its in Ashmont.

What areas of the city have become the new hot spots to live? Some neighborhoods in Dorchester have seen home sales jump 31 percent in the past year. Meanwhile, in Jamaica Plain, sales have soared 77 percent. Life-long Boston resident and founder of the advertising firm causemedia Donna Latson Gittens discusses why these neighborhoods are booming.
