As someone who suffers from a mental health challenge and is a miraculous suicide survivor myself I found Atty Murphys comments whack job, nut case, sexual deviant implied very disturbing in that it propagates the very stereotypes we are all trying to eliminate. It is these labels which prevent many of us from seeking treatment before catastophic events take place.

It was a surprising end to the case of the alleged craigslist killer. Medical student Philip Markoff apparently took his own life rather than face a murder trial. Kara is joined by Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, Northeastern University criminologist James Alan Fox, and victims’ rights’ attorney Wendy Murphy.
