Mnookin learned nothing from covering the Jayson Blair story. Facts DO matter! People do want accuracy in nonfiction books! In 1998, a medical study purported to show a connection between the MMR vaccine and Autism, prompting a generation of parents to forgo vaccinations for their children. Author Seth Mnookin discusses the power of the myth in his new book, The Panic Virus.
