Will Boston City Council President Stephen Murphy open to public view the stenographic machine record of the public meeting of the Council. Budgeted for with public funds the stenographic machine records more completely the Councilors deliberations in the public meeting for public feedback, comment, questions, suggestions and makes more accessible complete public proceedings for folks with hearing loss.
Boston City Councilor Stephen Murphy has never been shy about his interest in climbing the political ladder. Yesterday, he was elected the council’s new president. But with Boston’s high murder rate, impending school closings and a struggling economy, Murphy won’t be able to savor his promotion for long. Newly elected City Council President Stephen Murphy joins Emily.
