It is so discouraging to see these people living a life of crime in our dime. We pay for their time in court and all that goes with it. Who is paying for that mans care? His wheelchair? His designer glasses? How did he pay for the rented SUV? Does this person pay taxes? Does he work? Why isnt anyone asking these questions? How long are we as a society going to allow these people to behave outside the laws and mores of society and then pay for them?
Speaking from a wheelchair, Marcus Hurd – the sole survivor of a brutal mass shooting in Mattapan – testified in Suffolk Superior Court on Wednesday against the men accused of paralyzing him and killing four people, including a 2-year-old boy.
