I have to side with Dan here. It seems obvious that the neighborhood wasnt taking him seriously with such a long delay. I dont live nearby I dont know any of the parties involved. I do use a cane so for now I would be able to go into the stores. However now I wouldnt go in because of the store owners attitude. They seem to have a very exalted opinion of themselves. I think they show have made an accomodation long ago. No ones asking for a full renovation, just some thoughtfullness. Pauline

Mashpee's Popponesset Marketplace has been a Cape Coad hot spot for years. But will the popular landmark shutter for good for failing to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act? Hear the latest developments tonight as Emily is joined by Dan Murphy, a disabled person who is suing for access, and Mashpee business owner Joe Anastos.

UPDATE: On June 9th, an agreement was reached that will allow Popponesset Marketplace to remain open.
