The Vatican dealt another setback to local groups hoping to stave off the shuttering of six area churches. The groups have been fighting the Boston Archdiocese's decision to close the churches for almost eight years. Despite the upsetting news, the parish groups plan to appeal the decision to the Vatican’s highest court.
