Uck! I dont like this idea at all in fact, its kind of morbid. Silence should not be how we honor *living* men and women who are serving our country. It would be far more appropriate to have such a moment of silence on *Memorial Day*.

A pair of Weston brothers were in Israel when the whole country paused for that country’s Remembrance Day. The moment inspired Daniel and Michael Bendetson to try and change to how Americans observe Veterans Day every year. The Bendetsons join Emily to discuss their efforts to pass a bill calling for two minutes of silence to honor vets.
