Fortified by bottled water and camped out at her desk in the House chamber, Republican state Rep. Karyn Polito had single-handedly blocked passage of a $400 million spending bill on Beacon Hill. But Polito’s one-woman filibuster ended this morning when she arrived two minutes late – more than enough time for Democrats to gavel through the measure. Polito, the GOP’s candidate for state treasurer, joins Emily to explain why she intends to keep fighting the bill.
