In the 1980’s she became a household name with her role as Clair Huxtable as Bill Cosby’s wife – in the hit sitcom The Cosby Show. The Cosby Show is considered one of the biggest surprise hits in American TV history. For 5 straight years (1984-1989) it was the most watched show in the nation.
