Had not tuned in for a while. Today I could not help noticing how west centered and skewed by the conventional wisdom of our "developed" world reporting is. Shouldnt journalism be challenging the lazy ideas in our obese minds? An example the problem of generalized bribery in Russia is now seen as a relic of Soviet society. But then, lets not forget the Russian classics go to Gogol, Tchekhov...they all tell us bribery is a relic of feudal European societies, perhaps from medieval times. And thus you find it in less developed European countries that never experienced Soviet rule, such as Greece. Another example video games with a social message in China. Sounds cool. Families trying to protect their homes, their lives, from a blind central authority street vendors playing deadly hideandseek with law enforcement. And Chinese youth looking into all these issues. But then, the angle I would be tempted to take on this would be why is American youth not imaginative enough to be doing something of the sort as well? How come theres no online video games of families defending their homes from foreclosure? Or of ghetto communities fighting to survive between violent authorities of all sorts? What I mean to say at the end of the day the other side is not that far as we think. It could always yield priceless insight to try and view the same piece of news with the conventional wisdom of the other side...

Where can I find a link to a listing of the music played between clips of various stories reported during any given program on any given day? What I am most interested in being able to give name to/what inspired this inquiry would be the ~20 second clip of a strange electroIndianTraditional tune. Played after the "18 Days" expose. Where can I go to find a list? The music is often compelling and strange to me, and I think it would be enriching for many to experience and be able to hold access to. Also, what WAS the name of that song, and where can I find it?
