Great Performances at the Met

Metropolitan Opera, PBS and Thirteen New York join forces once again for an eighth season of opera telecasts, beginning in January 2014.

Great Performances at the Met presents director Richard Eyre’s new production of Bizet’s masterpiece, Carmen. Elina Garanca sings the title role opposite Roberto Alagna as Don José, Barbara Frittoli is Micaëla, and Teddy Tahu Rhodes plays the matador Escamillo.
