We were surprised to find the new series of Doc Martin appearing on Rhode Island public TV. We get RI and both ch.2 and 44. We are constantly searching for Doc Martin...such a wonderful character and series. When are YOU going to start Series 5 and will you do any promotion? We have turned lots of our friends into fans and everyone is frustrated that it is so difficult to find episodes. When they are aired, they appear in no particular order. Please keep us informed about your Doc Martin plans and when we can expect to view Series 5.

Your management of Doc Martin, MI5, Waking the Dead and Larkrise has been horrible. There is no logic to it. There is no information in the Explore! publication so we know what to expect. I am a Founding Member of WGBH and this is the worst service ever! It needs correction now to keep contributions mine included in the future.

I am a Doc Martin fanatic, too, and agree with all those who are disappointed by the schedule changes and dropped episodes. Suddenly we are back to series 1 after building to a crucial point in series 4 or 5?! What gives?

I am really disappointed with the move of the British programs to channel 44 as all our cable company here in Canada provides is channel 2. My main reason for supporting WGBH is because of the wonderful British shows. You have really managed to cut off a large portion of your audience. I seriously hope you will rethink this move and at least show these shows overnight on channel 2.

My husband and I have been loyal supporters of WGBH for many years. However, because we live in NH, our cable company does not carry channel 44, though they do carry 2, and several of the other ones like Create. As British comedies and dramas are among my favorites, I too am very dissapointed to see they are all moving out of my range. I just recently discovered the excellent show Doc Martin and now you are taking it away. Fortunately, NH Public TV does carry some of these shows but not all. If youre looking for ways to reduce your donations, this programming change is certainly one of them.

I am so frustrated with WGBH 2 you have taken all of my favorite programs and moved them from 2 to 44. I can get what is on 2 on 802 but it has to be showing on 2 at that time. 44 is Washington news all the time. What have you done to my viewing.... Doc Martin,MI5, Masterpiece, Larkrise to Candleford,Antiques Road Show.Where have you put them? Do they even exist anymore? You are a disappointment!!!!!!!If you can tell me where to find the scheduling for these programs I would really like to know. It sounds as if I have to buy the series in order to watch. After reading some of the comments below I can see I am not the only one that is frustrated ,disgusted,and bewildered. WGBH had a good thing going with their programming and now you have completly cut off a lot of your viewers and donations. TOO BAD!!!!! YOUR LOSS...........

I Just spent $39 at BBC Canada for the Doc Martin series 4. Looks like I will now have to buy Candleford too. Guess who is getting a drastic cut in next years contribution. Seems they also have As Time Goes by available.

I have recently become a fan of Doc Martin and Its good to see that Im not the only one who is frustrated and disappointed by its erratic scheduling. I look forward to viewing my new favorite series at a regularly scheduled time, at a reasonable hour, starting with Season Four.

I, too, was frustrated by WGBHs inconsistent program schedules for not just Doc Martin but MI5, Ashes, New Tricks, etc. The programming director should be fired or, at the very least, demoted. For those interested, Hulu has Seasons 1 through 4, inclusive, of Doc Martin available for free viewing.

Doc Martin is the favorite of four of my friends and of myself, of course. I agree with those who are complaining about the confusing shift of timing for showing this program. Its the best!

It is so disappointing, as a great fan of this fine program, to see it shifted around often deleted from the weekly schedule. It looks like the next airing wont be until mid October, switched to Wednesdays at 9PM. And, it looks like although the much awaited airing of Season Four was begun with the odd 1AM schedule, it will be going back to Season One again. Please, please, give us this program on a regular weekly schedule, during reasonable evening hours, in sequence.

Please continue to air Doc Martin at a reasonable time when people can actually watch it. I have been watching it on Maine Public TV this summer and I was disappointed to return to NH and discover that it was no longer being shown on Thurs. night. Why the schedule change?

Thank you for introducing us to Doc Martin. Airing the first two episodes of Season Four at 1am seems to be a curious decision. Will the remaining six episodes of Season Four be aired or will the repeat of the series from Season One, Episode One preempt airing the completion of the season? Thank you.

People, like me, who love Doc Martin will be interested to know that there are two fulllength movies of Doc Martin on Netflix. While trying to figure out which episodes I have missed, I came across these two movies. The series is based on them. I cant watch them soon enough! Marion Baker

Forgot, Please, please have more of this program along with other BBC shows, Keeping up Appearances and Candleford. I am so disappointed Candleford is not showing again until September. Good Old Guys are not something I care to watch. Saturday nights I stay in to watch Candleford and Appearance and of course Thursday for Doc Martin. Its a shame he is only on one night a week and I had a time just trying to keep up with the schedule for Doc Martin. Please dont change it again unless you show more of him.

This program is wonderful and the scenery is awesome. I do so wish the program was on more. I am mesmerised. He is such a meanie but soft at heart. Just love to see him feeling uncomfortable, especially when hed had too mcu to drink and missed out a a great chance with the love of life, who it turns out loves him too. I hope there are more chances coming up Doc Martin! Also love the receptionist and all the other characters. One of the best shows on TV.

Hopefully Doc Martin will continue Thursday at 8 on GBH 2 as soon as regular programming is restored. And hopefully WGBH has purchased all the seasons of Doc Martin. Does anyone know if this series is still being produced in the UK?
