I want to find the archive of the Tommy Mac show about hand done dovetails. I should have recorded it. I really enjoyed what I saw of the show, and want to see the whole thing. A great show, overall. Good work, Tommy.

I really like Rough Cut. I like Tommys method of presentation, as well as the love of wood and woodworking that comes through. The road trips are a great feature interesting and educational.

We love this show. Tommy is a talented woodworker and furniture maker. Even more refreshing is that he a real man, not afraid to be masculine. Thats something this woman and her dear husband can both appreciate!

Just watched this program first time and was fascinated by the techniques used...finally someone that works projects like I have done. The best part was seeing the finished flag case and the veterans folding and honoring the flag. My son has served in Iraq and is still in the service and it brought both my wife and I to tears. Please thank Tommy for this program. It was very inspiring!

Disappointed. Cocky Southie guy who nobody can really identify with. He is not respectful when he is presenting. Seems like WGBH might have a female programming manager who thinks woodworkers dig this guy. Wrong demographic. Maybe 25 year old women would like his show, "sweeet,...dats awesome dude". I miss Norm.

I enjoy the show, the pace and presentation improves with each episode. I particularily enjoy the road trips.

I love this show, the level of detail is outstanding. I feel like I genuinely learn a lot more from Tommys tips and pointers than I have from other similar programs. Ive actually used a bunch of stuff I learned from rough cut and tommys website in my own projects already so I just wanted to say thanks Tmac and keep up the good work. Hopefully WGBH can give this show some more air time in Boston personally Id like to see it reaired on the WGBX Create channel since I have a hard time catching it at the regular saturday slot

I enjoy watching the show and its nice to see someone use different types of wood besides pine Has Norm have used anything else besides pine? Tommy makes furniture that more my style with an emphasis more on a European flair with great attention to detail. It also doesnt hurt that Tommy is easy on the eyes either.

Thanks to Tommy Mac for a terrific woodworking show. I am really enjoying the shows and his common sense presentation about building both simple and complex projects. The tips are great. I will keep tuning in regularly. Special thanks of course to NJN and Comcast for broadcasting the show here in the Philadelphia area.

Hats off to WGBH for coming up with another awesome show. TMac is going to elevate the home woodworkers skill sets. He really makes the work seem easy. This is truly the next generation of DIY shows.

LOVE Tommys show! Learning a lot and enjoying the process. Cant wait to see the rest of the episodes. Here in Manitoba we got off to a late start, but a big thank you to Prairie Public for carrying it.

Great new show, somehow DVRed it and watched it today. I look forward to many more Saturdays of Rough Cut. As for the Debbie Downers....your doing GREAT! This is just what people need to see, a guy with a love of wood.

Marvin commented on Rough Cut: Woodworking With Tommy Mac on 12.04.10
I have to differ with all these negative comments. I love the show. Whats great about it is that its not canned. Hes a regular guy, and clearly loves what hes doing. I love how he is warm and friendly to his guests hugging Al, kidding Steve, etc. Watching the show has inspired me to sharpen my 20 yr old chisels atry handcutting dovetails. Yes, maybe the Woodsmith show shows more detail, but those guys are so scripted and boring! Tommy is competent, on the ball, and real! Please keep it going!

Howard commented on Rough Cut: Woodworking With Tommy Mac on 11.22.10
I have watched the trailers, and I dont think that The show can be based on that. His web show showed Me that Tommie had a good background in woodworking. Watching the podcast shows His abilities. He may not be the Norm at this time, but give Him a few years, and Tommie will have learned a lot about how to present a show. Good work Tommie, I will be watching!

Charles commented on Rough Cut: Woodworking With Tommy Mac on 10.30.10
this show wont survive its first season since is seems to offer nothing for any audience it is trying to target...the projects are far too elementary for most woodworkers, the techniques are a bit amateurish and too much detail is missing for newbies...this reminds me of an introductory shop course you would find in a high school
