I couldnt disagree with Alexander H more. I love this and the Arts and Ideas shows.Hallelujah! some programming that feeds my mind without the gut wrench of the daily news. Give my mind and spirit more of these! There is enough news the rest of the time and on other stations. Thanks for breaking it up with something enjoyable and enlightening. I hope these shows dont disappear in January......

Radio Lab is a true find! I have never had so many midweek "Driveway Moments" as I have since you put Radio Lab on the air. PLEASE keep it!

I have to disagree strongly. First, because I love Radio Lab, which has much better research and production than a weekday news program, and I like hearing the same episodes repeatedly. Second, Im vary willing to give GBH time to find or develop programming over time. Although I regularly listen to BUR, there are a few show, and in particular individual episodes of "callin" shows that I cannot stand listening to, and I much prefer to listen to another public talk radio program.

This format just does not work for me too bad, because each time Ive tried to listen, the subject matter was interesting. I find the vocal sound effects, the repeating one another, the chitchat, etc. not "illuminating" at all, but annoying. I would prefer a serious explanation of these topics, and will look elsewhere for it.

This show doesnt fit well at the time slot of 121pm. What is needed here is news. When GBH moved Classical music over to 99.5, I expected to get some actual competition for the BUR news. Radio Lab is a Saturday program or a late afternoon program. We just cant be Labbed daily, at lunch, we need the standard news hour that makes sense for midday break. I find myself turning back to BUR which is really not what I hoped to do. Are you worried about having news on at the same time as BUR?? Some people see two gas stations across the street from each other and think, "One of these should be a record store" (or other nongas entity). In the case of GBH and BUR, we need two gas stations and we a pulling for GBH to be the better gas station. (Since we know BUR will go dead air when a prerecorded show makes them uncomfortable)
