I am very much enjoying the Bach Month. I play banjo and would like to recommend the CD "Bach on the Banjo" by classical banjoist John Bullard. It is excellent.

I find this one of the finest programs available on public radio. The balanced harmonies and simple but well elaborated themes of Bach I find as music at its most profound and most satisfying. Bach can be likened to the dialogues of Plato with a similar noble effect. A program wellpresented, wellrecorded and ennobling for our time. Thankyou.

Dear WGBH Brian ~
What a fine program this is! Im a lifelong lover of classical music and yet, J.S.Bach remains in a class of his own, transcending all. Ive listened to each Christmas Cantata program many times appreciating how Brians intelligent commentary enhances my enjoyment of the glorious music. Ive expressed my gratitude in the form of a recent donation, which I intend to be the first of many.
Thanks to all who make this program possible!
